Welcome to "Lost in the Void: A Dystopian Oasis"
After years have past since the fall of civilization, scavenging for resources, survivors look to rebuild. Cities have fallen, swallowed by the dust and dirt with little to no signs of reclaimation. Crossing post-apocalyptic, desolate wastelands, while leaving behind what once was. A journey to find water, a dried up river bed, a reservoir, anything to bring hope and some life back to the land. Amidst the atmospheric decay, encounter scavengers, enemies, and rival factions, as everyone fights for survival in a world on the brink of collapse.

I would like a mixture between these two landscapes. Dunes, various rock formations, and moutainous regions in the distance. Looking to add in areas where nature is just beginning to reclaim the land. Small amounts of vegetation.

By chance a miracle, a small body of water is discovered and a small society of individuals begin to rebuild near it. But this is not just any normal body of water, this sources of water never runs out. It's an infinite well and becomes a source of new life.

Example of nature reclaming old structures.

Examples of camps being developed. Various sizes and complexities.

This is going to be quite a challenge over the next six months, but I'm looking forward to it. With this being an open world environment, creating landscapes with open space and learning more about visual story-telling is going to be fun. I'm excited to see what others create and talk with the other artists about there processes. More updates are to come!
