Leartes Veiled Realms Challenge | Göktarla Outpost
Hi everyone! I’m excited to say that I’ve decided to join this challenge from Leartes Studios. This is my first time doing a challenge like this, so I’m hoping to get as much out of it as possible.

For my environment, I picked a concept by Max Baj-Njeeth. I really liked the idea of a remote, lost outpost in the Veiled Realms theme. I didn’t want to make things too complicated for myself, so I went with a concept that has a clear structure and an overall understandable look.
Also, I don’t want to use any water in my scene, so I’m going to try to show a dried-up sea in a desert. The outpost will be up on a hill, so it would be visible from far away for passing caravans. Here is my references

The main focal point will be a tower, or maybe a lighthouse or a bell tower, right in the center. I’m planning to make it with some unique geometry. The houses and the street around it will be done with modules. I also want to put some extra attention into the rocks around the location.
For software, I’m planning to use Blender, ZBrush, Substance, and UE5. Also, as there is provided Marvelous, I'll try to create fabric structures. Never worked with Marvelous before, so it'll be kind of challenging for me.
Next up, I’ll start on a rough blockout of the outpost and the area around it. I’ll be posting updates here as I make progress on the project.
Wish me luck and strength! #learteschallenge
