INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to be part of the Veiled Realms Challenge! My name is Chuse, and I work as an environment artist.
For this challenge, I'll create an environment based on Max Bedulenko's concept - The Fisherman's District. I chose this concept for its colors and composition.

I will use a modular workflow and software such as Blender, ZBrush, Unreal Engine 5, Substance Painter, Designer, Houdini, and Marvelous Designer. My next step involves creating a planification and the blockout.

I'll keep you updated on the project's progress. Stay tuned for more updates!

BLOCKOUT
I started by placing some huge boxes with the measurements I wanted, and once I had them, I continued with the work.

MODELLING
Considering the number of assets, their complexity, and the camera view, I decided not to use the typical high-low workflow. So everything is in its low version except for some elements in the foreground.

TEXTURING
As a lover of Substance Designer, I created 99 percent of the textures there. Everything is tileable or trimsheet except for objects close to the camera, some figures, and the doors.
Before starting with the trimsheets, I planned them in Photoshop. The image on the right is a simple version of the trimsheets created in Designer.
