I've always been drawn to the dieselpunk aesthetic—gritty, industrial, and steeped in a sense of alternative history. Concepts like Vienna and Ghent capture this mood perfectly with their mix of old-world architecture and steely, atmospheric charm. For my current project, I want to build on that foundation while pushing the visual language further. I'm considering introducing more vibrant elements—perhaps neon-drenched holograms in the spirit of cyberpunk, eccentric characters with bold silhouettes, or even something organic and symbolic, like a blooming cherry tree breaking through the concrete. These juxtapositions could help breathe life into the otherwise muted palette of dieselpunk and hint at a deeper narrative tension within the world.

To bring this vision to life, I’ll be using Unreal Engine for building the scene, Blender for crafting 3D assets, and InstaMAT for texturing and material work. Next up will probably be a rough blockout and some concepting. #leartesstudios
