Veiled Realms - Hidden Alleys

I am starting this Vieled Realms Challenge by drawing inspiration from Max Bedulenko's Armenian District project and I also really liked the use of orthographic facades in the Ghent Project. I come from a background of thinking about 3D Environments for use not just in games but also in film (LED walls/Volumes) and theatre with technologies such as projection mapping as an alternative to traditional scenic painting and so the use of facades as a way to show detail is a very intriguing concept for me.

I wil be exploring similar themes in my concept and I hope to be able to enter both the full 3D environment as well as the Concept Art / Environment categories. I am thinking alongs the linees of imagining what some of the oldest streets in the UK might look like in a similar fantastical future as Max' work shows. This will be my starting point, the hidden alleys.

I will be working initially in Blender but also as mentioned I want to fully develop (if time allows) this into a full 3D environment so my tool for that will be Unreal Engine.
